What’s new in Office 365

Microsoft releases updates to Office 365/Microsoft 365 for Windows, such as features, bug fixes, and security patches, once they are available. This version has been updated to 2110 (Build 14527.20276), released on November 9, 2021.

A subscription to Office 365 support or Microsoft 365 grants subscriptions members faster access to software updates, which makes it easier to stay up-to-date with the latest features, security patches, and bug fixes. Keeping up with each update and knowing when they’re released can be challenging. Rather than you having to do this, we do it for you.

In the following table you will find a summary of all the updates to Office 365/Microsoft 365 for Windows, starting with the most recent updates. As new updates are rolled out, we’ll update this page.

Listed here are the updates available to Office 365/Microsoft 365 subscribers. Check out the “Release notes for Office for Windows Desktop (Beta builds)” page if you’re a member of Microsoft’s Office Insider preview program.

Small businesses and consumers will be able to buy Office 2021 as a one-time purchase this fall if they don’t want to subscribe to Microsoft 365.

The new, flat-priced version of Microsoft’s Office productivity software went on sale Oct. 5 — the same day it was released with Windows 11. Despite its focus on Office 365 subscriptions, Microsoft has indicated that the company will release Office 2021 as a one-time purchase for those who have not yet migrated to the cloud.
