Rails or posts made of wood
U-nails (aka fence staples) in galvanized steel.
A pair of galvanised washers and rustproof screws must be used (the washers’ diameter must be two times the mesh aperture’s diameter)
An treated timber strip or batten is placed over top of the mesh and nailed through with galvanised nails or screws to the host post or rail
A pair of special clips can be purchased from hardware stores, which are screwed into the rail or post.
The clips can be galvanized or stainless steel.
Two or three twists of galvanized (or PVC-coated) wire
Ties made of thick and wide plastic, black for longer life.
RHS section or steel pipe (preferably galvanized)
Welded mesh Fencing Brisbane and then painted with galvanized paint after it has been finished (but does not work for PVC-coated mesh because it will burn the paint).
(washer diameter must be 2 x mesh aperture size) Galvanised washer and screw or rivet with large diam.
Wire or bag ties with loops tied around the pipe sections 2-3 times with galvanized (and PVC coated) wire (very tight tying may damage a PVC coated mesh product).
The mesh and posts are laced together along the whole length of the pipe/section interface using galvanized (and PVC-coated) wires
The mesh is sandwiched between the mesh and a galvanized steel or aluminum post – secured together with washers and screws, or with self-tapping screws or bolts.
